Has anyone looked into the mine shaft theory in more detail? I was just reading about Cinda Barnum's disappearance, and it's puzzling how little seems to have been explored regarding the informant's tip to the DEA. I know the information might be tough to verify after all these years, but it feels strange that there isn't more emphasis on this lead. With Arnold gone, any potential direct answers might have disappeared with him, but does anyone know if there’s been any renewed interest or search efforts in the area? Maybe for closure for her family, if nothing else? Also, does anyone think there might be a connection to other missing persons cases around the area at the time? Just thinking out loud.
Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deeper into the case of Lorraine Barnum, and something that caught my attention was the mine shaft lead. Has anyone looked into the historical mining sites around Central City? I know there were tons of mines in the area, but pinpointing which one could be critical. Perhaps local historians or old mining maps could provide insight? It seems like a major task but could hold answers if the lead holds any truth. Has anyone in the community tried to connect with local resources or checked whether there have been any searches conducted there? Would love to know if someone has something on this angle!
Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into Sylvia Barnum’s disappearance and stumbled upon something intriguing. So, according to what I found, there were rumors about Sylvia getting involved with the Hare Krishna group around the time she vanished. I’m curious if there was any significant Hare Krishna activity in California in the late '70s that might’ve attracted her there if Arnold’s account is to be considered. It’s a bit odd how he claimed she left with an unknown male to join them, but there's no evidence corroborating that story, right? I wonder if this was just a convenient excuse for Arnold to cover things up. Also, I can’t help but think about the mine shaft tip from the DEA informant. Was that ever fully investigated? I feel like there might have been leads that just got lost because of the lack of attention cases from that era receive. Thoughts, anyone?
