I’ve been thinking a lot about Charles Morgan Wright III’s case lately, especially the eerie detail of his abandoned car. It’s intriguing how his yellow Volkswagen Beetle was just left at that intersection. That car must have stood out, and yet no one seems to have noticed anything unusual at the time. I wonder if the authorities explored the idea deeply enough that maybe Charles had just met someone there? It’s a pretty curious spot to leave a car without any signs of distress or struggle. Has anyone local to South San Francisco at that time ever mentioned seeing anything like that, or could there have been places nearby that weren't checked thoroughly? Every little detail seems so crucial when there’s so little to go on.

I'm intrigued by the mystery surrounding Charles Morgan Wright III. One element that I find puzzling is the choice of location where his car was found. The intersection of Chestnut and El Camino Real doesn't seem like a place where someone would just abandon a vehicle without a reason. Was this area significant to Charles for any reason? Did he have connections there? It's curious because it’s such a busy area, you'd think someone might have seen something, right? Or could it have been a meeting spot gone wrong? I feel like the location might hold more clues than we've realized. It would be interesting to know if this was a frequented area for him or just a random spot. Anyone local or with insights into the area back in '82 have any thoughts?
