I keep thinking about Michael Keith Weaver's case and the fact that he left behind all of his personal items, including his car! To me, that stands out as really odd. If he truly intended to disappear temporarily or even long-term, why leave his vehicle behind? It’s not like he could rely on public transport with that amount of cash. Was he planning to meet someone who had their own transportation? There's just something so off about abandoning everything important to him, especially when he knew he'd need some way to get around. It makes me wonder if he trusted someone enough to give him a ride, and if so, who was it? It feels like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that we're missing. Anyone else have thoughts on why someone would leave their car if planning to vanish?
