Hi everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Ivan Wheeler's case, and something that's been really bothering me is the uncollected murder weapon. It's just so puzzling to me that a crime scene involving a fatal shooting could have been so devoid of clear evidence right from the start. The fact that no immediate signs of murder were evident and detectives weren’t called to preserve the scene as a homicide always makes me wonder if something critical was overlooked at that crucial early stage. With Wheeler's taxi being parked in a public place like that, it would seem possible that the weapon could've been discarded nearby or tossed out along the route. Has anyone looked into detailed reports of items recovered from areas near the taxi's location? Even decades later, could it be worth revisiting the surrounding area with new technology? The smallest overlooked detail might be the key to cracking this case. My heart goes out to Ivan's family and friends. It's hard to imagine how heavy it must be for them with so many questions left unanswered. I hope they find peace someday with the truth. Thoughts? - CuriousCat_78
