This case has been weighing heavily on my mind, especially thinking about how things unfolded in such a short span of time in what should have been just another routine work night for the employees at Sagebrush Steakhouse. I read about the terrifying moment when the suspect took one of the employees hostage and couldn't help but imagine the sheer panic and fear they all must have felt. Knowing that James Michael Jones lost his life in such a senseless act of violence is incredibly upsetting. It's scary how quickly things can take a horrific turn without warning. I hope that someone out there remembers something from that night, however small it may seem, and comes forward with information. It's crucial for justice to be served, and for James’s family and friends to get some form of closure. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. Stay safe, everyone.
