On Sunday, November 4, 2007 at approximately 12:15 a.m., a black male suspect with a shotgun approached three employees in the the rear-parking lot of the Sagebrush Steakhouse Restaurant, located on 1562 Yadkinville Road in Mocksville at Exit 170 on Interstate 40 eastbound in Davie County.

The suspect shot and killed employee James Michael Jones. The suspect then took a female employee hostage at gunpoint and tried to gain entry into the business, but he was unsuccessful. During the shoo ...
