I've been following Lynn Bush's case and something that's always intrigued me is the role of their daughter, Misty, in the investigation. It's so chilling to think about the impact such early trauma might have had on her. It seems like her statements during therapy were crucial, even if they were fragmented and made when she was very young. Imagine being a kid in that situation, possibly witnessing something awful, and then living with David afterward. I can't help but wonder how Misty is doing today and if she ever sought closure in her own way. Her strength at that age to speak up, even inadvertently, seems immense. It also makes you think about how many other unresolved cases might hinge on the delicate memories of children who may have seen more than we realize.
Has anyone else noticed the strange timing with David moving his girlfriend in after Lynn disappeared? I mean, who does that when your spouse is missing?! It makes you question what was really going on in that household before Lynn vanished. I understand people have different ways of coping, but this just seems off to me. From what I gather, Buttrey's wasn't exactly empty, so someone might have noticed her or seen something unusual. It seems odd that there weren't more details about her interactions or movements in the store or even descriptions from any witnesses. Did the investigators ever release specifics like security footage details, or witness interviews from shoppers or employees?
