It's truly devastating to think about what happened to Amauri Ainsworth during what should have been a peaceful and joyful gathering at the park. I've been wondering about the event itself – was it a planned celebration, like a family reunion or community event, or was it just a sunny Sunday where folks spontaneously gathered? Knowing the nature of the event might help piece together if there was any underlying tension or if Amauri was targeted or just tragically in the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyone familiar with that park or South Drive area? Is it a common spot for big gatherings like this? The fact that no arrests have been made yet is so concerning. With so many people there, someone must have seen something. It's terrifying that such violence can erupt so quickly and leave a family mourning a bright life cut short. I hope that people come forward with information soon, for the sake of Amauri’s family and for the safety of the Jackson community. Sending love to all those affected.
