Has anyone else been curious about why Benjamin Lopez Jr. left his car in Bellingham before flying to Alaska? I can't help but wonder if there's more to that detail. It's odd for someone to just leave their vehicle behind unless they were planning on coming back to it soon. Maybe he chose Bellingham specifically because it was cheaper to fly from there, or perhaps he had some kind of connection? Also, it's worth noting that he was dealing with some serious health issues. With his brain cancer and the metal plate in his skull, it's hard to imagine him taking on something as physically demanding as mountain climbing without careful planning. It's like there are pieces of his plans missing that might hold clues about where he went after Anchorage. I wish there was more information about whether he actually went climbing alone or if he was meeting someone there. Could he have made a friend in Anchorage who might know more?
