I can't stop thinking about Demontae Johnson's courageous fight for life in those harrowing days after the shooting. It just shows how strong his spirit was. The doctors and emergency staff at Grant Medical Center must have been working round the clock to try and save him, knowing that every second counted. It’s so sad knowing that his loved ones were hoping and praying for a miracle during that time. It would have been incredibly tough for his family and friends, knowing he was in such a critical condition and feeling so helpless. My heart goes out to them as they navigate through this painful and confusing time. I really hope the ongoing investigation gets to the bottom of what happened and provides some sense of justice for Demontae and his family. Sending thoughts and support to all those affected.
