I've been following the Richard Forsyth case for some time, and something that's always intrigued me is the abandoned Cadillac in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It's like a piece of a puzzle left out in the open, waiting to be fit into the broader picture. How does a car just get abandoned there without anyone noticing who left it?
Considering Forsyth’s many travels, could he have used the Cadillac to evade detection intentionally, given the strange timing around Kirchhoff’s disappearance and the purchase with $100 bills? It seems odd that someone would just leave a car like that behind without a plan. There’s also a chilling thought that maybe there’s a network or contact Forsyth had in the area that facilitated his travel under the radar.
Has anyone looked into other missing person cases in the Grand Forks area around that time to see if there's a pattern or connection? It might be a long shot, but stranger things have happened in true crime cases. Any insights or similar findings from fellow sleuths would be great!
Does anyone else find it odd that Richard Forsyth's Cadillac was found all the way up in Grand Forks, North Dakota? I've been digging into the geography of his known locations, and it seems so out of the way compared to where he was last traced in Tucson, Arizona. I mean, it's quite a trek from the Southwest to almost the Canadian border, right? Did he have any connections in Grand Forks around that time? The fact that the car was abandoned there makes me wonder if he was trying to throw people off his trail. Also, North Dakota isn’t exactly the kind of place you’d expect someone on the run to casually stop by unless there was a specific reason. Thoughts?
