Richard Forsyth Missing Person Case

Richard Neil Forsyth, a 41-year-old man from Waterloo, Iowa, was reported missing on January 13, 1994, though he was last seen much earlier, on October 18, 1979. His disappearance is thought to potentially be linked to another missing person case, that of Steven Kirchhoff, a known drug dealer who vanished from the same area in January 1978. There is speculation that Forsyth might have been involved in Kirchhoff's disappearance, as reports suggest Forsyth was seen carrying something wrapped in a rug shortly after Kirchhoff disappeared. Furthermore, Forsyth purchased a 1972 Cadillac with $100 bills just after Kirchhoff vanished, raising suspicions.

Forsyth traveled extensively after his disappearance, moving to places like Manhattan, Kansas, and Tucson, Arizona. His family and investigators tracked him to his uncle's home in Tucson, but by the time they arrived, he had already fled. Forsyth’s Cadillac was later found abandoned in Grand Forks, North Dakota, but no conclusive evidence has emerged to explain his disappearance or any link to Kirchhoff's case.
