Was anyone else struck by how quickly the Special Emergency Reaction Team and Crisis Negotiation Team managed to apprehend Mahmoud Said Ali? Just four days after Anwar A. Osman's tragic murder, and they pinpointed him on Northeast Glisan Street. It almost seems like they had some solid leads or intel, which might be why they were able to act so decisively. This makes me wonder about how well Ali managed to conceal himself or if those around him might have been aware of his whereabouts. It’s haunting to think how swiftly life can change—from going about your business at a red light to being the focus of a high-stakes police operation. My heart goes out to Anwar’s family and friends who are undoubtedly desperate for answers and justice right now.
