I keep thinking about the Mosser family and how drastically their lives were changed that December day. Imagining Susan and her daughters going about what should've been a routine Saturday morning, filled with anticipation for the holidays, only to have it all come crashing down in an instant, is just so overwhelming. Thomas Mosser’s tragic death not only left an empty seat at the family table but also shattered their sense of safety within their own home. It's horrifying to think that a place meant for warmth and love could be so violently invaded. What stood out to me during this case was the undeserved nature of the attack—targeting a man and his family based on a flawed perception. No family should ever have to endure the ripple effects of such a senseless act. My thoughts are with Susan and her daughters, who had to rebuild their lives amidst such a profound loss. Despite the passage of time, I hope they have found some peace and continue to honor Thomas’s memory in their own ways.
