I can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage and how traumatic it must be for Alexis Hill's family to know that her final moments were captured in such a brutal and senseless manner. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and shock they’re going through right now. My heart goes out to them, and I hope that they find some measure of comfort in the overwhelming support from the community. It’s devastating how quickly life can change over something as trivial as a transaction at a store. The community’s response, with the memorial outside the Dollar General, shows how deeply Alexis was loved and valued by those around her. It’s clear she left a significant mark on everyone who knew her. Sending strength and prayers to her family during this unimaginably difficult time.
