Does anyone else find it odd that Harold’s truck was found so far away from his home without any apparent reason? I mean, it’s over 100 miles from Decorah to where his truck was discovered. If he was planning to move in with his daughter, why head in the opposite direction? Could he have been trying to visit someone else, or was he just driving aimlessly due to his mental state? It’s baffling that there’s no trace of him anywhere around that area. Also, with Harold’s history of depression, I wonder if it might have affected his decisions or if he just needed to be alone for a while. It’s frustrating how little information there is about his movements that day. Hoping more eyes on this can bring some fresh perspectives or theories!
Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deep into Harold Doerring’s case, and something that stands out to me is how perplexing it is that his truck was left so far from Decorah. I mean, it was found over 100 miles away near Highway 218, a route that Harold wasn’t really known to frequent. This makes me wonder, was someone with him? Did he pick someone up or decide to take an unexpected detour?
Another thing that’s been bugging me is whether Harold had any connections to Mount Pleasant. It’s such an odd place for the truck to be abandoned, and I haven’t seen any information suggesting he had friends or ties there. Maybe there’s something about that spot specific to him that hasn’t been uncovered yet. If anyone knows more about that area or has any theories, I’d love to hear them!
