Does anyone else find the location of this incident particularly unsettling? A parking lot at a Lowe's, of all places, where people typically go about their day without a second thought. It makes you think about how these kinds of personal conflicts can spill over into places that are usually mundane and routine. My heart goes out to Salim Basalat's family and especially his daughters. They're so young and to lose their father in such a tragic circumstance is unimaginable. It's a stark reminder of how quickly life can change. I hope the community in Hermitage finds some peace as more details come to light and justice is served.
