I'm still trying to wrap my head around the awful events surrounding Reyna Caceres's death. Something that's been on my mind is the context of the gathering where it all happened. What should have been a peaceful night socializing turned into a nightmare. Why do these incidents happen in what are supposed to be safe spaces? Also, I've seen some discussions speculating about whether Reyna was the intended target or not. If she wasn't, it adds another layer of tragedy to an already terrible situation. Imagine being out, having a good time, and then suddenly becoming a victim of violence. It's terrifying. Sending strength to Reyna’s family and friends. I hope they find some comfort as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Also, here's hoping the justice system does its part in bringing some measure of justice for Reyna. These senseless acts have got to stop. Anyone else have thoughts on safety at these gatherings or what the community can do to prevent this from happening again?
