Has anyone else been thinking about the impacts this tragic incident must have on the children left behind? I can't imagine the amount of emotional support they’ll need after losing not just one key person in their lives, but three. Jenna's five sons, especially, will undoubtedly carry this trauma with them, and I truly hope they find themselves surrounded by love and support from the community. It's reassuring to hear that a memorial space was set up at Meinig Memorial Park—gestures like that can mean so much to those grieving. The effects of an incident like this ripple out far beyond just the immediate victims, touching the lives of so many who knew them or are part of the community. Seeing the Sandy community come together in response has been a light in all this darkness. I just hope all the children involved can find some path to healing.
