I've been following Xu Wang's case for a while, and one thing that's really puzzling to me is the location of her car. Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve is a known spot for hiking and nature enthusiasts, but it's not exactly on the way to Rush-Copley Medical Center. Why was her car found there, locked, with her belongings inside? It seems odd that she would detour that way on her usual commute to work. Was there a reason she stopped near the preserve? Did someone else drive the car there to throw people off? I can't help but wonder about the significance of that location. Have any locals or fellow true crime sleuths dug into whether any other suspicious activities have been linked to that area around 1999? It just feels like a huge piece of the puzzle that hasn't been addressed thoroughly.

Hey everyone, I've been looking into Xu Wang's case, and I can't stop thinking about the location where her car was found — Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve. It's such a peculiar spot, not exactly a place you'd just happen to leave a car if something had gone wrong on a commute to work. Has anyone seen if there were any reports about suspicious activities or sightings in or around that area in the days leading up to her disappearance? It seems like a pretty remote location unless someone had a specific reason to be there. Also, the fact that her pager was found about a mile away only adds to the mystery. Anyone have any thoughts on whether someone local might have been involved or if this spot had any personal significance to her or the people she knew?

Does anyone else find the location of Xu Wang's car really intriguing? The Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve isn't exactly a high-traffic spot, especially late on a weekday morning. It's such an odd place for her car to end up. Given that her home was in Darien and she was headed to the hospital in Aurora, it feels like the car being found there might not have been by her choice. Also, the backpack being locked inside the car, but with no sign of a struggle – it almost seems like someone wanted the car to be found but not necessarily lead to anything clear-cut. And then there's her pager discovered later. With all of this, I keep wondering: Could the car's location be more significant than we're considering? Maybe it's tied to someone who knew the area well? Would love to hear some theories or insights from anyone familiar with the area!
