Has anyone heard more about the theory that Wilma might have tried to go back to Colorado? I know it's been a long time, but something about her language when she resisted the move makes me wonder if she planned on making her way back there somehow. Her Alzheimer's would complicate things, of course, but it's not entirely out of the question, right? It's just strange that her scent was picked up at the gas station. Could she have asked someone for a ride and been misunderstood? I feel like there’s still so much we don’t know about her state of mind that day. Anyone else have thoughts on why her scent ended at the gas station?

I’ve been following Wilma Julia Joiner’s case for a while now, and something that always intrigued me is the scent trail leading to the gas station on Leisure Town Road. I've looked into similar cases where scent trails go cold at public locations like gas stations or grocery stores. Could it be possible that this indicates she might have gotten into a vehicle with someone? The timing just seems too coincidental to me. Also, considering her desire to care for herself despite her condition, maybe she was seeking help or trying to return home somehow. I wonder if there were any witnesses who might have seen someone matching her description talking to strangers or getting picked up. Has anyone else looked into this angle or found more information about that day near the gas station? I'm curious if any potential witnesses were ever interviewed about this specific area. Thoughts?

Has anyone considered examining the area surrounding that gas station on Leisure Town Road more thoroughly? I know it's been years, but sometimes crucial details get overlooked. Maybe there's a park or a path that wasn't thoroughly searched? Dogs tracked Wilma's scent there, which means she surely spent some time nearby. With her Alzheimer’s, she might have gotten confused and wandered further than imagined. It wouldn't hurt to organize a local search or raise awareness in Vacaville again. Any thoughts or local folks willing to help?
