Wilma Julia Joiner, aged 70, was last seen on March 8, 2000, in Vacaville, California. Having recently relocated from Colorado Springs to live with her niece due to her Alzheimer's diagnosis, Joiner was unfamiliar with the area. On the day of her disappearance, she left her niece's home on Songbird Court between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., likely to take a walk. She was reported to be carrying around $30 at the time.
