Mary Darlene Evans, also known as "Dolly," was last seen on October 1, 1986, in Vacaville, California. That evening, she had dinner with her husband before leaving to visit a friend's house, but she never arrived. A few days later, her silver Pontiac Parisienne was found abandoned on Greenfield Avenue in Vallejo, California. Her purse was missing from the car, and there were no signs of a struggle or any forensic evidence at the scene.
