I've been following Jay Jevon Phifer's case, and it's so unsettling just how brazen this attack was. To think about how over 30 shots were fired in broad daylight is terrifying. This level of violence is just unimaginable. I can't help but wonder about what those moments must have been like for the people living in the two homes that were hit by stray bullets. Thankfully, no one else was hurt, but it’s still shocking to think about how easily it could have turned into a larger tragedy. My heart goes out to Jay's family and friends. Losing someone so abruptly and violently must be devastating. I really hope the community steps up and comes forward with any information that can lead the police to whoever is responsible for this. Everyone deserves justice, especially in a case as senseless as this one. Stay safe out there, everyone.
