Has anyone else been following the case of Brannon "Lil B" Briggs Jr. in Beaumont, Texas? It's so upsetting to see such a promising young life taken away so senselessly. What sticks out to me is the community aspect of this tragedy. Perlstein Park, the site of the incident, is usually a place for families and kids to gather—it’s supposed to be a safe space. It’s devastating to think that this happened in broad daylight, in a place that should foster unity and peace. My heart goes out to Brannon's family and friends who have to live with this loss. They deserve answers and justice, and I hope the Beaumont Police Department can find a resolution that brings some peace to them. If anyone has any insights on the local response or any community actions being taken, I’d love to hear more.
