Michael Elridge's murder has been deeply disturbing to read about. What strikes me most is the brazen nature of the attack—right at a bustling intersection near the Kia Forum, in broad daylight. It's terrifying to think how bold and calculated such crimes have become. I can't imagine the trauma that the woman in the car with him must be feeling. Physically unharmed, yes, but the emotional scars of witnessing such a violent act must be profound. I really hope she's getting the support and help she needs. With no public updates on any suspects or clues, I wonder if there could be more info the police are withholding for investigative reasons. Sometimes they have to play things close to the chest to catch the perpetrator. It makes me hope even more for a breakthrough soon. Anyone in the area that day who might have seen something—no matter how minor it seems—could play a huge role in finding resolution for Michael’s family and friends. It’s vital that whatever tiny bits of information people might have are shared with the authorities. Let's not let this become just another cold case. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I hope justice finds its way soon.
