I find myself thinking about the niece who made that first call to 911. It must have been such a terrifying moment for her. My heart truly goes out to her. It's crucial that friends and community members offer as much support as they can to help her navigate this incredibly difficult time. Such events have long-lasting impacts, and it's vital she knows she's not alone.
