I’ve been following this case closely, and I’m stunned by how senseless this violence seems. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Jakhala Moss and Jamarcus Kennedy — especially to Jakhala's young children. Losing their mother in such a tragic way is unimaginable. One thing I keep coming back to is the way the suspects approached the scene on foot. It makes me wonder if they were familiar with the area or maybe even knew the victims. It’s so disheartening to think about the kind of fear this community might be living in if this was gang-related. I hope someone comes forward with information soon, so there can be some sense of justice and maybe even some eventual peace for the family and the entire community. Stay safe everyone, and let’s keep discussing. Sometimes talking is what brings light to the darkest places.
