Hey everyone. This case has really been heavy on my mind. I came across Claire and Frederick Buckley’s situation and felt compelled to discuss a part that doesn't seem to fit—why was their dog also fatally shot? It strikes me as particularly puzzling and adds another layer to this devastating event. Both Claire and Frederick have been described by neighbors as kind and caring. Claire especially seems to have cherished her roles as a mother and grandmother, and I can only imagine how this loss is affecting her family right now. I wonder, could this detail potentially lead to a different understanding or motive behind this case? Or was it possible that something else was going on we don’t know about? Families often have complex dynamics, and from the outside, it's sometimes hard to see the full picture, but taking the life of a pet as well seems especially cruel and confusing, considering they were reportedly on the cusp of starting a new chapter in Columbus. I'm hoping that as more information becomes available, we might begin to understand what led to this heartbreaking situation. But right now, my heart truly goes out to the Buckley's family. Anyone else have thoughts or insights about this?
