I can’t stop thinking about how tragic the atmosphere at the First Stop Bar & Grill must have been that night. I just found an old article mentioning previous altercations there, and it makes me wonder why the bar wasn't shut down earlier. I mean, how did it keep operating if it had such a history? It's devastating that Thomas Coates Jr. became a casualty in a place that should've been safe. My heart goes out to his family; they must be facing unimaginable pain. What breaks my heart even more is thinking about Thomas, who probably just went out for a normal evening and never came back. If anyone has insights on how places like this can continue running despite repeated violations, I'd love to hear. Maybe there's some information we can dig up to prevent further tragedies. Sending all my hopes for justice and healing to Thomas's loved ones.
