I’ve been thinking a lot about why Tony Matthews was outside that Kroger on Peachtree Road when the attack happened. His family mentioned he wasn't homeless, but I can't shake the feeling that there might have been something going on that he hadn't shared with them. Maybe he was trying to help someone or just needed a moment to himself. It’s hard to piece together why someone so close to their loved ones would end up in such a dangerous situation alone.
Does anyone think there's a chance Tony might have seen something suspicious or out of the ordinary that night? It’s heartbreaking to consider what he might have been dealing with, and why he might have felt the need to be there. It's difficult to come to terms with the randomness and senselessness of it all. My heart truly goes out to his wife and kids. They must be searching for answers, just wishing they could have one more conversation with him to understand what his last thoughts might have been.
