Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Sheri Tolosa and something's been on my mind that I haven’t seen discussed much—Aaron Arocha’s mental state at the time of the shooting. It’s absolutely devastating to think about what Sheri must have experienced, and my heart goes out to her family dealing with such an unimaginable loss.
I came across the claim about Santa Muerte, which honestly baffles me. It leaves me questioning whether Arocha might have been struggling with some form of mental health issue. It seems like he mentioned this "Santa Muerte" influence to justify or rationalize his actions, despite there being no reported issues between him and Sheri. From a legal standpoint, this type of claim might factor into his defense, but it raises more questions for me about what might have been going on in his mind. Has anyone else looked into this aspect? I feel like understanding Aaron’s state of mind might help piece together why this senseless tragedy occurred, even if nothing can bring Sheri back.
Has anyone found more detailed information about any psychological evaluations being planned or conducted? I'm wondering how investigators and legal teams approach claims like this in serious cases. Sending support to Sheri's loved ones during this difficult time.
