Did anyone else feel a chill reading about how the suspect in Rashawn Mackey's tragic murder fled toward a nearby McDonald's after the shooting? It’s just so unsettling to think about how randomly and quickly violence can happen, leaving friends and family devastated. I can’t even imagine the pain Rashawn’s loved ones must be feeling right now. There was mention of K-9 units tracking a scent to a nearby apartment complex. It's so crucial that this lead, along with the surveillance footage, helps bring the shooter to justice sooner rather than later. Every detail matters, and I hope the police can piece everything together swiftly. It's terrifying to think a person capable of such a senseless act is still out there. Stay safe, everyone, and let's hope for some closure for Rashawn’s family.
