I’ve been following Quinn Venay's case closely, and my heart goes out to her family, especially her young kids. I couldn’t stop thinking about the aspect of there still being no motive or suspect identified after all this time. It’s unbelievably upsetting to think about a vibrant life cut short and the fact that the shooter is still out there. The thing that keeps haunting me is the randomness of it all. Quinn was standing with a group of people, just on a night out, when someone randomly opened fire from across the street. It could have been anyone, and that randomness makes it all the more terrifying. Why them? Why Quinn? It seems so senseless, and the fact that no one has been held accountable yet must be unbearable for the family and community. Her mom, Mia, mentioned Quinn wasn't the intended target, which raises so many questions about who was, and why. I just hope that with more awareness and people coming forward, there might be some breakthroughs in the case. For Quinn's family and her little ones, this is not just about justice, but also closure and understanding why such a cruel fate found her that night.
