I can't help but wonder about the psychological impact of witnessing something so tragic on everyone present at the gas station that day. It's unsettling to think about the trauma experienced not just by Dylan's family but also by the bystanders who had no idea such violence would unfold right in front of them at a place we visit weekly. How do they process what they've seen, and do they receive the support they need afterward? My heart goes out to all who were impacted; such events leave a lasting mark that's difficult to move beyond. The ripple effect of this kind of violence is enormous, affecting so many lives beyond the immediate victim. Being empathetic towards all those who found themselves in a traumatic situation and are undoubtedly trying to cope with the emotional aftermath is crucial.
