Has anyone else noticed the impact this case has had on the community's sense of safety? I've seen a few discussions around town, and it’s clear a lot of people are feeling unsettled, especially in such a tight-knit place like Grand Isle. My heart goes out to Drevon's family, navigating this unimaginable pain. It must be so difficult to reconcile his memory as a protective family figure with the circumstances surrounding his death. There’s been talk about increasing community programs to engage youth and maybe prevent situations like this in the future. I truly hope the community can come together to heal and find some way to honor Drevon's life. Anyone have thoughts on what can be done to help us feel safe again and support the family?
