I've been following the Simpsonville case and just stumbled upon something that might shed light on Daryl Dobson's state of mind leading up to the incident. Apparently, he had been dealing with some major health issues. A neighbor mentioned that Daryl was often seen struggling with mobility, using a cane whenever he was outside. Given that he was a former prison guard, I imagine it must have been incredibly frustrating for him to face declining health after such an active career. It makes you wonder how much this contributed to the tragedy. It's just so hard to wrap my head around how this could happen, especially in what seemed to be a quiet, close-knit community. My heart goes out to Gloria’s family and friends for having to process such a terrible loss. I hope they can find some semblance of peace amid the chaos.
