Has anyone here ever been to the Lucky Strike in Matthews? I've bowled there a few times, and it's just so unreal to think something so tragic could happen in a place meant for fun and relaxation. I didn't know Travis personally, but I'm from the area and can't help but feel a sense of loss for his family and friends. It's shocking how quickly an argument can take a devastating turn. I read about how Travis was trying to turn his life around and was the kind of guy who could light up a room. It makes this loss even more sorrowful knowing he was making strides for a better future. Does anyone know if Lucky Strike has any plans to increase security after what happened? I can't imagine how the regulars and staff there are feeling right now. Also, if anyone's interested, there's a GoFundMe set up to help with his funeral expenses. I just hope Travis's family finds peace and strength in this difficult time.
