I'm really disturbed by the tragic loss of young Joel Terrell in that senseless shooting on Valencia Street. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who are enduring such a painful time. What baffles me is this: Why do some people feel compelled to resort to gun violence to resolve conflicts or whatever sparked this horrific event? It's maddening to think that Joel's life was cut short so abruptly and violently. I wish the authorities success in their investigation and hope they can piece together the evidence to find those responsible. If anyone out there knows anything, no matter how small it may seem, I urge you to reach out to the police or Crime Stoppers. The community needs answers, and justice needs to be served for Joel and his loved ones.
