It's hard to imagine what Mr. Edwards' family is going through right now. From what I've read, the area around SE 15th Street and S. High Avenue has had its share of trouble in the past, but it’s still shocking to see something like this happen. It’s concerning that neighbors heard a commotion before the gunfire, yet no suspects have been identified. I really hope someone comes forward with more information soon. If anyone has lived in or around that neighborhood, can you share if this level of violence is typical? Or have things escalated recently? My thoughts are with Mr. Edwards’ loved ones during this incredibly challenging time.
