Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Andrea De Stories and her mother, Kitty Brown, and something that just doesn’t sit right with me is the timeline leading up to their discovery. How does a mother-daughter duo go unnoticed for two whole weeks in a neighborhood without somebody checking in on them sooner? I know everyone has their own lives, but it just seems so sad that no one noticed anything was off or reached out earlier. It raises so many questions about the community support they were receiving, or maybe more accurately, the lack of it. I understand that Andrea was caring for her mother, who had serious health issues. That in itself must have been incredibly exhausting, both emotionally and physically. But with everything that happened, it seems like the isolation might have been too much for Andrea to handle. Is this something that should push us to better check on our neighbors, especially those who are primary caregivers? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Hopefully, we can discuss ways future tragedies like this might be prevented. My heart goes out to their family.
