I've been following the Darnell Guiden case closely, and something that's been sitting heavy with me is the fact that the suspect—Tristan D. Miles—actually called 911 himself. I mean, what kind of mindset prompts someone to do something as horrific as this and then immediately call the authorities to turn themselves in? I can't even begin to imagine the emotional turmoil and chaos that was going through the minds of Darnell's friends and family upon hearing this devastating news. I hope they find the strength and support they need through these incredibly trying times. It's just all so senseless, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. Seeing that footage of him returning to the truck only highlights how deliberate this was. I hope justice is served, and we can start to understand what led to such a terrible chain of events.
