I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on Trent Harper’s friends and teammates. Losing someone so young and full of promise is devastating, especially for those who shared the field and classrooms with him. Trent was not just an exceptional athlete but also a friend and mentor to many at Horlick High. It must be incredibly difficult for his teammates who looked up to him, both on and off the field. I hope they’re finding ways to support each other through this unimaginable pain. Does anyone know if the school is offering any grief counseling or support groups? The bond between teammates can be powerful, and I imagine many are struggling to cope with this senseless loss. Sending strength to all who knew and loved Trent.
