I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the Eastman community. It's difficult to wrap my head around the fact that two lives were lost so suddenly and violently. Jonathan Groves was a familiar face around here; it feels so surreal knowing he's gone. While many questions remain about what drove Rex Giddens to such a shocking act, my heart goes out to the families involved. They must be enduring unimaginable pain and confusion. I hope the GBI can shed some light on the circumstances when the investigation concludes. It's just so sad to think this situation escalated to this point. I hope the community can find some sense of peace and healing in the wake of this senseless tragedy.
