It's devastating to hear about what happened to Jai Barnes Jr. I read somewhere that he always tried to make others smile, even when he was going through tough times himself. He had dreams of graduating and creating a brighter future for himself and his family despite everything life threw at him. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family has been through, losing him in such a violent and unexpected way after already dealing with past tragedies. It's terrifying to think that something like this could happen in what should be a safe space like getting off a school bus. I hope the community rallies together and that someone with information comes forward to help police bring those responsible to justice. Little actions can have such a big impact, and in times like these, every piece of information could be vital. Sending love and strength to his family during this unbelievably difficult time.
