I've been thinking about the role grief played in this tragic case. It must be utterly devastating for the families involved, especially for Michael and Cameron's classmates and the wider school community. Both boys were so young, with promising futures ahead of them, and it's hard to wrap my head around the sudden loss. I can't imagine what their friends are going through, facing empty seats in their classrooms and the reality of losing someone their age. The school seems to be doing everything it can, offering counseling and support for students, but the healing process will no doubt take a long time. For those affected, it’s important to lean on each other and find ways to remember the brothers in a positive light, keeping their memories alive. Anyone else here connected to them or the Grand Rapids community who can share how people are coping?

Hey everyone, I've been following this awful case out of Grand Rapids and something that's been on my mind is the wellbeing of Broomfield's young son. The poor kid was found unharmed at the scene, but I can't even imagine the trauma he might be dealing with after what happened. Does anyone know if there's been any mention of who's taken him in or how he's being supported through this? In situations like these, I really hope there's family or friends stepping up to create a loving and stable environment for him. It must be such a confusing time for a child of his age. Also, if there's a fund or something to help with his needs, I'd love to hear about it. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Michael, Cameron, and their mom. This has shaken the community badly.
