Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Marquise Tillman and have been thinking a lot about the potential impact of this incident on the community, especially given that it’s the first homicide in Beaumont for 2026. It's truly unsettling that a young life was lost over something that possibly stemmed from a narcotics transaction. I can't help but wonder how this affects the safety perception among the residents, particularly at the Pointe North Apartments. Are there any community initiatives or meetings happening in response to this incident? Sometimes, bringing people together for discussion can be a step toward healing and preventing future tragedies. My heart goes out to Marquise's family and friends. Losing someone so young must be incredibly difficult, and it's important that the community comes together to support them. If anyone is local and knows of any vigils or events in Marquise's memory, please share. It might provide some comfort to those who knew and loved him.
