I recently came across Dyshawn Hammonds' case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact of his loss on his community and loved ones. It's devastating to see someone so young become a victim of the senseless violence that was gripping Buffalo at that time. From what I've read, his funeral at Pilgrim Baptist Church was a powerful moment where his family and friends came together, not just to say goodbye, but also to support each other through such a tremendous loss. It serves as a reminder of the real human stories behind the statistics we often hear about urban violence. My heart goes out to his family, and I hope that efforts in Buffalo have brought some peace and safety to the community since then. Does anyone have updates on what has changed (if anything) in Buffalo concerning gun violence since 2012?
