I can't stop thinking about what the neighbors on Walnut Avenue are going through. It's unimaginable to have this happen right next door, especially to such an elderly couple that neighbors described as kind and loving. The shock and fear they must be feeling, knowing this unfolded in their peaceful community, is hard to grasp. I hope they're able to come together to support one another through this traumatic time. I read that a neighbor had once filed a restraining order against Kirk — I can't imagine living with that kind of fear and uncertainty nearby. Does anyone know more about how the community is reacting or if there are resources being offered to help them cope with this tragedy? My heart goes out to everyone affected.
