I've been following the case of Jalen Coats Stevens, and it really hits hard. From what I understand, the police have taken Michael Alan Harris into custody, which is a step forward, but it seems like there’s still so much left unresolved. What's really been troubling me is the reports of Glenn's stabbing during the incident. It’s alarming that the person responsible for attacking him hasn’t been caught yet. It must be incredibly difficult for the family not only to have lost Jalen but also to be dealing with the aftermath of this violence against Glenn. I can't even begin to imagine how they're coping with such a traumatic event.
The effort by the community during the vigil shows how deeply Jalen and Glenn were loved, but we need to support them by helping police find everyone involved. If anyone was at the lounge that night or knows something, every detail could make a difference. I hope justice is fully served, not only for Jalen but for Glenn and his family's peace of mind as well.
